Refunds and Returns Policy

At The Albert Club we aim for 100% satisfaction. If, for whatever reason, you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, please let us know ASAP so that we can do our best to assist.

Our refund and returns policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, or, in the case of items on back-order, the dispatch date or date of notification that your item(s) were available to collect from the club, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and returned to the Albert Club in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and still retain the relevant tags/labels where appropriate.

For postal deliveries, we only ship via reputable couriers however, in the unlikely event that the item(s) you receive from us are damaged in transit, please retain the original packaging and, ideally, take a photo and get in touch ASAP.

Non-refundable items:

The following items are non-refundable.

Personalised Items

We are unable to accept returns or refunds for any personalised items. Please ensure that you consult the sizing guide before personalising any clothing and, if in doubt, get in touch for further assistance prior to placing your order.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

To complete your return, we simply require your order number. You will have received this via email during the checkout and order fulfilment process. You can find this in your Account History or check your inbox for emails from shop@thealbertclub.co.uk

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. You may check the progress of your refund via Your Account.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment on the same working day.

Late or missing refunds

We will email you once refunds have been authorised. You should receive your refund immediately. Some UK building societies unfortunately still take up to 3 days to credit your account.

If you’ve still have not received your refund after 3 working days, please check with your bank/building society in the first instance and then contact us at shop@thealbertclub.co.uk quoting your order number if you require further assistance.


We quality check all of our items prior to dispatch and will only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please either send us an email at shop@thealbertclub.co.uk or call us on 0161 445 1605 in the first instance. You are welcome to enquire in the clubhouse however, be aware that bar staff may be unable to assist.

If you’ve bought an item in the wrong size/colour, we’ll do our best to help with an alternative.

We will ask you to return all physical goods. To do so, you should post or return your item(s) directly to us at: The Albert Club, 39-41 Old Lansdowne Road, West Didsbury, Manchester M20 2PA.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Please request proof of postage at the drop off point so that you are covered in the event that your item is lost/damaged during transit or in the event of non-receipt by the Club – you can obtain proof of postage free of charge from most couriers. If you elect to drop off your return item(s) at the club, please ensure that you physically hand it to a member of staff, quote your order number, and obtain a receipt. You can check your order status online to confirm.

If you receive a refund, the cost of any outstanding return shipping fees incurred by the Albert Club, along with any restocking costs may be deducted from your refund, or, for Albert Club members, may be deducted from your club balance. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
